DESCRIPTION:Dan Elias – Clarinet\nMarco Brehm – Upright Bass\nScott Wilson – Oud and Kanun\nCasey Bond – Doumbek\n \nThe Elias Ladino Ensemble is excited to bring the Jewish music of North Macedonia back home. Since 1976, they have been playing Sephardic music at concerts and festivals across the world. Daniel Elias, a founding member of the group, learned the Jewish music of Bitola in the oral tradition, as it was passed from his grandmother to his father. Bandmember, Maurice Sedacca, also hails from a family of Sephardic musicians. His mother and grandfather performed these songs as well.
