DESCRIPTION:Damjan Pejchinoski-guitar\nBand:\nDejan Milosavljevic – drums\nZoran Jagoridovski – percission\nGoran Geshovski – bass guitar\nGordan Spasovski – piano\n \nDamjan Pejchinoski (b.1984 in Ohrid), is a Macedonian guitarist, specializing in various music styles including jazz fusion, gypsy jazz, blues, rock, country, traditional, and many others. Damjan began playing guitar at the age of 6, but his real interest started at age 14. After graduating from high school in his hometown Ohrid, where he still lives today, he enrolled in the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia and NBU University where he was awarded a full scholarship for his studies in the field of jazz and earned his Master’s degree. Over the course of his musical career, Damjan has won numerous national and international award. In 2009, he was a finalist in the global guitar competition, Guitar Idol, held in London. In 2010, he won 2 international guitar competitions: “Shred This Too” and “Ziua Chitarelor” in Romania. In May 2010, he represented his country at the Eurovision song contest in Oslo as a one of the band members, and in April 2013, he was a soloist with the Presidential Orchestra of Belarus in Minsk, Belarus. In July 2017, he held 4 concerts in China with his own gypsy jazz trio and was presented with the Award for Excellence in Performance by the Major of the city Landzhou for. Pejchinoski teaches in several music schools including this post at the Faculty of Music in Skopje where he was Head of the Guitar Department.\nDamjan’s concerts, tours, and masterclasses have taken him around the globe in Australia, China, the USA, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Kosovo, Macedonia. He has shared the stage with such names as Jeniffer Batten, Stu Hamm, Michael Lee Firkins, and Andreas Oberg.\nDamjan Pejchinoski is on the artist roster and is sponsored by the guitar company Strandberg.\n  \n
