  Nicolas Bourdoncle began his own piano studies with his father, Michel Bourdoncle, at the “Darius Milhaud” Conservatory in Aix-en-Provence and later attended the “Pierre Barbizet” Conserva-tory in Marseille where he worked with Erik Berchot. This young pianist made his orchestral debut in 2009 and has already performed in more than forty concerts with orchestra and played in many recitals. In 2015, he obtains the Superior Diploma with the highest distinction in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. He is currently a master’s student at the Geneva Conservatory. Michel Bourdoncle has an active concert career and regularly performs at top venues all over the world, collaborating with some of the best performers in the music. With his playing he inspired many composers who dedicated their works to him. His discography inculdes recordings with famous record labels. Bourdoncle has organized master classes in numerous countries and has been featured on various radio and TV shows. Among his other activities, he is the founder and the artistic director of the Festival, the Academy and the International Competition “Les Nuits Pianistiques”.   Program:   Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849): Piano Sonata no. 3, op. 58
