TRIO VIBRART
Juan Floristan-piano
Miguel Colom-violin
Fernando Arias-violoncello
The VibrArt Trio, founded in 2015 in Berlin, was born from the convergence of three outstanding individual careers, coming together to give voice to the piano trio repertoire with a committed, honest, and authentic approach. Their name, “VibrArt,” highlights the power of chamber music to move, communicate, and resonate deeply with audiences.
All three members of the trio have developed —and continue to pursue— parallel musical careers. They trained at the Reina Sofía School of Music and in Berlin, and currently combine their chamber music activity with solo, pedagogical, and orchestral projects.
Juan Floristán is a prizewinner of the Santander and Rubinstein competitions and a professor at the Barenboim-Said Academy. Miguel Colom is concertmaster of the Spanish National Orchestra and teaches at both the Reina Sofía School of Music and the Barenboim-Said Academy. Fernando Arias is professor at the Madrid Royal Conservatory, also teaches at the Reina Sofía School of Music, and is the recipient of numerous international awards.
They have received guidance from renowned musicians such as Eberhard Feltz, Menahem and Kennedy Moretti, among others. Their repertoire spans many of the major works for piano trio, ranging from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to Lera Auerbach. Their debut recording features works by Schubert and Shostakovich.
They perform regularly throughout Europe, appearing at festivals such as the Pollença Festival, the Marvão Festival, Schloss Elmau, and the Salle Cortot, as well as concert series including Excelenz Konzerte in Berlin. They have also appeared as soloists with orchestras such as the Spanish National Orchestra, the Catalan National Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, and the Alicante Provincial Orchestra, performing in major venues including the Auditorio Nacional de Música, L’Auditori de Barcelona, and the Teatro de la Maestranza.
