FAME’S European Orchestra Performing Institute
FAME’S European Orchestra Performing Institute was founded in 2022 in Skopje and is co financed by Project Fame’s, EU’s program for culture Creative Europe and the Ministry of Culture of Macedonia. The main goal of the Institute’s program is to help young musicians enhance their artistic and individual skills by teaching a variety of courses and presenting new innovative training possibilities for professionalization and performance possibilities by opening new perspectives in training through an innovative orchestral program.
The Institute has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Timothy Redmond, Roman Simovic, Irina Muresanu, Vesko Eshkenazi, Kolsimcha and Olivier Truan, Austin Wintory, Francesco Tristano, Rob Mazurek, Benjamin Schwarz, Jan Bang, Mirian Khukhunaishvili, Cuareim, Etienne Abelin, Gabriel Prokofjev, Emilly Davis, Federico Nathan etc.
Rusanda Panfili-violin, leader
Rusanda Panfili is a Moldovan violinist, composer and arranger with remarkable musical talent. She performs various musical genres, violin concertos like those of Shostakovich and Sibelius, an extensive variety of chamber music, and an array of soundtracks by legendary composers such as Morricone, Williams, Zimmer, and Desplat.
As an award-winning violinist, Rusanda has graced the stages worldwide with internationally known orchestras and conductors. She collaborated with distinguished artists such as Hans Zimmer, Andrea Bocelli, Lisa Gerard, and Gavin Greenaway. This rich history of performances and collaborations paints a vibrant picture of Rusanda’s musical journey and lends weight to her standing in the world of classical music.
Rusanda’s love for folk music inspired the creation of her personal project, ‘Panfili&Friends,’ where she amalgamated her love for classical and folk music. Her first album under this venture served as a testament to her innovative spirit and creativity in producing music that transcends boundaries.
2020 marked Rusanda’s debut as a composer, with the release of her album ‘Andara1980.’
Rusanda has a privilege of playing on a rare and precious violin from 1610, crafted by G.P. Maggini.
