Tatijana Petrushevska-Karaskakovska-oboe

Marjan Miloshevski-bassoon

Petar Makarievski-piano

Piano trio is made of three established musicians- Tatijana Petrushevska-Karaskakovska, principal oboe of the orchestra of the National opera and ballet, her colleague principal bassoonist of the same orchestra and professor of bassoon at the faculty of music in Skopje-Marjan Miloshevski and pianist Petar Makarievski, piano accompanist at the Faculty of Drama in Skopje. They all individually have significant careers, but their constant strives for exploring the varied repertoire for this specific chamber formation as well as the broadening of their respective repertoires has led to the establishment of Piano trio in 2014.

This chamber ensemble has performed numerous works from all periods including virtuoso works by H. Brod, T. Lalliet, W. A. Mozart, F. Poulenc, G. F. Handel, A. Vivaldi, A. Reichenauer, L. V. Beethoven, M. Glinka to name just a few that are part of their constantly growing repertoire. The first performance of the trio was at the concert promotion of the CD dedicated to their friend and colleague Ilija Zimbo, and then they went on to perform in almost all Macedonian cities including Demir Kapija, Kumanovo, Vinica, Krushevo, Prilep, Gevgelija, Berovo, Delchevo, Kochani, as well as in Novi Sad. Their programmes contain Macedonian premieres of works and are warmly received by the audiences.  In 2022 the trio received specially dedicated works by Macedonian composers Vanja Nikolovski-Gjumar and Filip Ivanov which were premiered at the Chamber music festival in Novi Sad- European capital of culture in 2022. This was followed by additional two dedicated works by composers Kostadin Delinikolov and Goran Nachevski in 2023. In July 2023 the Trio performed at the Ohrid Summer Festival, and later that year performed at the Macedonian cultural center in Istanbul performing a programme solely made of works by Macedonian composers. Celebrating their 10-year jubilee in 2024, the Trio performed concerts in Vinica, Bitola, at the “Golden lyre” festival in Skopje and at the Macedonian cultura center in Zagreb. The same year the Piano trio is awarded the “Georgi Bozhikov” prize by the Macedonian composer’s association for their concerts and promotion of Macedonian composers abroad.

The Trio is characterized by a refined and powerful sound, interactive and collaborative approach to performing as well as individuality and virtuosity of its members.
