Declaration of incompetence

We live in crazy times. Non-stop. We have high opinions of ourselves and our surroundings, but in essence we are not important. Time ruthlessly rumbles on, history revolves in an incredibly perfect circle, and on purpose or not, although aware of its trajectory, we fail to learn anything from experience. Consequently, we as a civilization constantly devaluate. We forget why we are here. Or maybe we actually never found out. Excuses and mitigating circumstances are our favourite things to do. Finger-pointing has become the favourite training of civilization. The mirror no longer serves for one’s reflection, but only as means for basic instincts and vanity. During our leisure, from the comfort of our homes we fight for justice, equality and freedom. And freedom is a disease my friends! A virus. A zone of comfort. From that position we create a false future and meaningless stories for our children.

The play “12” is a declaration of our inaptitude. Incompetence! Just a bleak option amidst a spiritual corruption. Are we just here to tell our own story? I have my doubts. What’s the cost of human life? I believe in the will to survive. I don’t believe in extinction. Is faith enough? Can we have beliefs? And in what or in whom? Maybe we don’t matter so much. Maybe we can be gone in a split second. Anger is a tasteless misunderstanding. A bridge over to the island of failed expectations. The play “12” is a foreword to all our failures.
