Beautiful evening in “St. Sophia” with sounds of flute and piano
One of the most prominent Italian flutists, Giuseppe Nova, together with his colleague and compatriot, top pianist Giorgio Costa, played for the audience of “Ohrid Summer” last night.
The extraordinary performance of the works that were scheduled for the concert program stirred up the emotions among the visitors in St. Sophia” church who, with stingy applause and bis, thanked the Italian artists for the wonderful evening.
Flutist Giuseppe Nova has been performing with his colleague for three decades, but for the first time they are presenting together at “Ohrid Summer” festival.
– The last night was beautiful just like the church we played in. We enjoyed and touched this historical feeling very much. We rejoice that we were in contact with such beauty in the interior of this building. I must congratulate the organization of the impressive festival “Ohrid Summer”. This event is of great importance because every evening a concert is held. We are honored to have performed at the festival and we are glad that we had the opportunity to bring some of the Italian music. Music is the best communication among people, said the famous flute player Nova.
