Alisa Sadikova is a harpist of rare distinction whose international career was forged through worldclass debuts as a young child. Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, she began her harp studies in 2010 at the Special Music School of the Saint Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory with Karina Maleeva. She received the Salvi Foundation Scholarship and continued her studies with Catherine Michel at the Cambridge Musica Mundi High School in Belgium. In 2025, she completed her Bachelor of Music degree in harp at The Juilliard School and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree with Nancy Allen as a recipient of the prestigious Kovner Fellowship.
Her international career began in 2010 when, as a Grand Prize winner at her debut competition, she performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and embarked on a ten-city U.S. tour. At eight years old, she debuted as soloist with orchestra under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov, a performance that launched her onto the world stage.
A significant recent highlight was her 2025 debut at the Tel Aviv Opera House, where she performed as soloist with orchestra under the baton of Constantine Orbelian. She also holds the distinction of being the youngest semi-finalist ever to compete at the Israel International Harp Competition in 2018. A winner of more than 20 First Prizes at international competitions, Sadikova stands among the most highly awarded harpists of her generation. Her accolades include the Yuri Temirkanov Prize (2012), Young Talents of Russia (2017), and dual successes in 2023 at the Scandinavian
International Instrumental Music Competition and the Clara Schumann International Competition. She has performed as a soloist in over 25 countries, appearing with orchestras at venues including the Vienna State Opera and Munich’s Philharmonie im Gasteig, and was a featured artist at the World Harp Congresses in Sydney (2014) and Hong Kong (2017). Beyond classical music, Sadikova toured the world with Sarah Brightman for the Royal Christmas Gala and has released five acclaimed albums, including her 2023 solo release Harp Constellation. Sadikova’s performances have received widespread acclaim, and she is an official artist and ambassador for Lyon & Healy and the Salvi Foundation, reflecting her prominent standing in the international harp community.
