Nubya Garcia is though to be one of the most influental names of the new British jazz scene, trailblazing through the top of the contemporary European jazz.

She is a British saxophone player and songwriter, band leader, globally recognized for her powerful sound and innovative approach to jazz.

Her music blends jazz, afro beat, Caribbean rhythms and contemporary urban energy. She has performed and some of the world’s best jazz festivals and leads the new jazz generation.

Nubya Garcia will perform with Peter Somuah Band, who will also be presenting his new album recorded for the ACT label.
