Romanian evening “From Bucharest to Madrid”
Irina Muresanu-violin
Daniel Del Pino-piano
Romanian violinist Irina Muresanu and Spanish pianist Daniel del Pino present an exciting musical journey “From Bucharest to Madrid”, inspired by the cultural heritage of the two performers. As the title suggests, the repertoire traces the road one would follow between two cities, with stops in Hungary, Austria, Germany and France, as represented by prominent composers.
The duo’s musical relationship began at the prestigious Newport Music Festival in 2019 and they have since appeared in several prestigious venues in the United States and Europe. Each performer is an acclaimed soloist in their own right, and together they bring a fresh and powerful energy to the standard repertoire. Ms. Muresanu and Mr. del Pino are equally interested in presenting programs that are educational while enjoyable, and well-suited to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
