The pianists Sun Hi You and Marko Ciampi delighted the audience in “St. Sophia”

Young and extremely talented pianists Sun Hee You of South Korea and Italian Marko Ciampi played in the church “St. Sophia” within the framework of the music program of the Ohrid Summer Festival.
Their concert was a real pleasure for the art lovers who watched the music event with great attention, but also rewarded with stormy applause and “bis”.

Pianist Sun Hee You of South Korea living in Rome met her counterpart, Ciampi, 10 years ago at a music competition where the organizer, listening to them playing a piano, suggested that they play together.
-We are happy to be here and it is a great honor for us to perform at this highly renowned festival. It’s wonderful to play a piano together with Marko Ciampi because we both play our own way, I’m a woman, and he is a man. So, in the program, femininity is felt in me, and with it masculinity. We were happy last night when we expressed our thoughts and emotions through the music in front of the audience at the wonderful Ohrid Summer Festival, Sun Hee You, which first performed at the Ohrid Summer Festival.

Pianist Marko Ciampi was part of the festival three years ago, together with his colleague and compatriot Alberto Pizzo and the legendary film music composer Oscar winner Luis Bacalov died last year.
-I am happy to play again in the beautiful church with acoustics that captivate me. I was part of the festival program in 2015 when I performed with Alberto Pizzo and Luis Bakalov, who, unfortunately, died last year, and I dedicated the last night’s concert in Ohrid exactly to him. We play together with Sun for two years. We have a different program like this with which we performed at the “Ohrid Summer”, says Ciampi who graduated with the highest achievements of the prestigious San Pietro a Mayela conservatory.
Pianist Sun HeeYoo is one of the most exciting rising artists, who are constantly amazed by the audience around the world. Ever since her debut, she has grown from a child genius to a complete musical artist with expressive expressiveness and technical maturity in playing.

Pianist Marko Ciampi is a remarkable performer, and this is proven by the fact that he has won over 30 national and international piano competitions. As a soloist, he has appeared on some of the most prestigious scenes in Europe and America, as well as at several festivals in the world. During his career he worked with prominent orchestras and prominent composers and performers. His performances are regularly broadcast on prestigious radio stations.
