The concert of the National jazz orchestra featuring special guest and resident artist of the OH, Jazz 2026 -Peter Somuah will present works that Somuah has written and orchestrated for the German WDR Orchestra, as well as works from the standard repertoire of the National Jazz orchestra.

Peter Somuah is a trumpeter and composer from Ghana, active on the European stages and based in the Netherlands/Germany. He is regarded as one of the most interesting new voices of contemporary jazz, creating music that connects his African roots, modern jazz and the European improvisational aesthetics.  He has performed with renowned ensembles throughout Europe.
