Concert of Stojan Dimov and Dino Imeri at “Ohrid Summer”

The Ohrid Summer Festival will organize a clarinet and piano concert tonight. Macedonian artists, clarinetist Stojan Dimov and pianist Dino Imeri will perform in the church “St. Sophia” starting at 9 p.m.

Stojan Dimov completed primary and secondary education in Veles and Skopje, and in the period from 1975-1981 he studied at the Faculty of Music in Skopje (Prof. Ivan Kocharov) and at the University of Zagreb (Prof. Josip Nochta). He received his master’s degree in 1993 in Skopje, and from 1980-1995 he was a solo clarinetist in the Macedonian Philharmonic. He is also a member of the Big Band of MRT, and since 2002 he has been a permanent member of Goran Bregovi група’s group. Over the years he has recorded numerous performances with recitals, and as a soloist he has performed with several Macedonian and foreign orchestras. He collaborates with important conductors, and is a member of various chamber ensembles. Today, Stojan Dimov is one of the most active Macedonian musicians with performances around the world.

Dino Imeri (1990) is one of the most renowned Macedonian pianists. He performed with great success with the Strasbourg Philharmonic, Sofia Philharmonic, Macedonian Philharmonic, Symphony and Chamber Orchestra of the FMU, Macedonian Opera and Ballet, Chamber Orchestra of the Musical Youth of Macedonia. He has performed with recitals on prestigious stages throughout Europe, including: “Vatroslav Lisinski” – Zagreb, Palace “Esterhazy” and “List-Center” in Austria, “Piano Beach Festival” in France, Ohrid Summer, Skopje Summer, Interfest – Bitola and dr. He has won numerous awards and recognitions. Imeri has also recorded numerous domestic and international record releases, and since December 2018. acquires the title of assistant professor and teaches at the Faculty of Music in Skopje several subjects in the field of piano, chamber music, correlation and piano in context.
