With the concerts of the German saxophone quartet “Signum” in the “Sveta Sofija” church and “Goce Stefkovski Septet” on the stage Dolni Saraj continues the music program of the festival “Ohrid Summer”
“Signum” is composed of four saxophonists, four young artists for whom the critics say that in their music they carry a mixture of masculinity and sensitivity. Playing mainly without notes in front of themselves, they spontaneously impose themselves on the audience, in line with the very music they perform. Their perfection in the performances is perceived as something expected …
The artists Blaz Kemperle, Eric Nestler, Alan Luzar and Guerino Belarossa formed “Signum” in Cologne in 2006. They are academically musicologists at the music universities in Cologne, Vienna and Amsterdam, with numerous awards and performances at several festivals and prestigious scenes across Europe.
The concert program that starts from 20:30 hours is part of Ravel, Shostakovich, Gershwin, Barbar, Piazzola, Koria, Zarvos.
On the stage Dolni Saraj starting at 22 o’clock concert within the frames of “Ohrid Summer” with “Goce Stevkoski Septet”.
