Acquired musical instrument skills will be presented by participants from Serbia, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, Russia, three young participants from the Republic of Northern Macedonia. and for the first time the seminar has participants from Ukraine.
This year the International Seminar returns to the traditional framework, unlike the previous year when due to restrictive health measures part of it was held through online communication.
– This year we worked in the Primary Music School “Metodi Patchev” in Ohrid. After a year of saying “drought”, we return to the traditional working atmosphere of the seminar. We used the experiences gained from last year to have continuity by working together, says the head of the seminar, violinist Emilio Percan.
The International Seminar on Violin, Viola, Piano, Baroque and Chamber Music has existed since 2009 and in the first three years of its existence was held in Istria, Croatia. It has been held in Ohrid since 2013, and the final concert is part of the “Ohrid Summer” program.
