The Macedonian musical trio “Aura” last night in the church “St. Sophia” in Ohrid performed in front of the audience of the “Ohrid Summer Festival”
The “Aura” trio is comprised of three prominent music artists: flute Strash Temkov, pianist Ana Gaceva and phagotist Marjan Milosevski who say that the “Ohrid Summer”, especially in the church “St. Sophia” is an event that they always look forward to.
– I think we made a wonderful concert last night. I can not be humble, not to say that we as three are not satisfied with our interpretation. There was a beautiful atmosphere in “St. Sophia”. The audience responded well to what we prepared as a program. We leave with full souls and we will wait for the next moment when we will play again at “Ohrid Summer” and in the beautiful “Saint Sophia,” says Fletist Temkov.
He and his trio colleagues work as professors at the Faculty of Music in Skopje. They have performed numerous recitals like soloists and chamber musicians in the US, France, Germany, Austria, England, but also on the Asian continent and in Africa. Critics call these artists “masters of their instrument”
The “Aura” trio has a long and rich concert activity performing works of all music eras and styles, and often promotes premiere works by Macedonian composers, written specifically for this composition.
