Stan Breckenridge – piano
Stan Breckenridge has authored three books, each of which are in their third edition. These include Music Taste or Waste: Critical Listening Skills for Students, Teachers, and Parents (2018), Popular music in America: Forging the American spirit (2016), and African American music for everyone: Including, theater, film, and dance (2014). He is also a contributing author along with Steven M. Allen and Audley Chambers for the book On African American Music (2021). Over the years Stan Breckenridge’s music career blossomed into numerous engagements and TV appearances. He has he has performed at venues including The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, The Greek Theater, The Los Angeles Forum, The Los Angeles Sports Arena, The Hollywood Bowl, The Watts Summer Festival, Capitol Records, and others. He has delighted personalities such as Madeleine Albright, Bobby Blue Bland, Mahalia Jackson, Jerry Lewis, Martha Reeves (of the Vandellas), Nancy Sinatra, John Travolta, John Wayne, He has performed and lectured in places such as Dubai, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, and throughout the United States.

The members of the GLAM quartet are established artists that regularly perform solo, in chamber music formations or as part of larger orchestras throughout Poland and abroad. Their respective biographies show their versatility as musicians who equally well combine a variety of musical styles – from classical music, through pop, rock, house, and contemporary alternative sounds. Individually or as a quartet they regularly collaborate with esteemed Polish and international artists from different genres, and at different events including festivals, television productions, sporting events as well as being featured on numerous recordings. Each week the GLAM quartet are the musical pillars of the program “Gwiazdy Kabaretu” (Cabaret Stars).
