EU Evening at “Ohrid Summer”

The traditional EU Evening of the “Ohrid Summer” festival will take place tonight at the Church of St. Sophia, starting at 9 PM, with a concert by the Spanish clarinetist Pablo Barragan and the French pianist Eloise Bella Kon.

The program includes compositions by F. Poulenc, M. de Falla, A. Weber, I. Albeniz, and A. Messager. Born in Andalusia and currently residing in Berlin, Pablo Barragan has always attached great importance to the interaction between musicians during joint performances, considering that this symbiosis between them is the ideal approach in interpreting musical pieces.

Pablo Barragan is an exclusive artist of the clarinet manufacturing company “Bakun” and plays the “Bakun Lumiere” clarinet model.

In 2016, Eloise Bella Kon was awarded the Young Artist of the Year by the magazine “Diapason,” and since 2018, she has been an official artist endorsed by the brand “Yamaha.” These two recognitions, along with the depth of her musicality, help her career move forward in an upward trajectory.
