Eugene Skovorodnikov – piano, Canada

Critics describes him like an artist with an “extraordinary performance technique”, “incomparable elegance and enchanting power”, “perfect mastery and polished sense of style”. Eugene Skovorodnikov graduated from Kharkov State University of Arts (Ukraine) in 1981, and then took his post-graduate course at the St. Petersburg conservatory, where he remained teaching until 1990 when he left the country. In 2006 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Musical Arts by Kharkov State University of Arts, Ukraine for his achievements in performance and teaching. During his carrier he had performed in famous concert halls in Russia, Canada, Italy, China, Israel, Ukraine, USA. Besides the solo activity, Skovorodnikov also performs as a chamber musician collaborating with a number of great musical artists.
