Youth podium Viktor Rafajlovski, piano, North Macedonia

  Viktor Rafajlovski – piano   Viktor Rafajlovski studies piano at the Music and Ballet centre “Ilija Nikolovski-Luj” in the class of Katerina Cetkovic-Fidanovska.  He has taken part in numerous competitions at which he has been a prize winner- featuring first prizes at the State music competitions in 2010, 2012-2015, 2017 and special first prizes in 2019 and 2021. On international level, he has won prizes in Arangelovac (2011), Vranje (2011), “Davorin Jenko”-Belgrade, (2014, 2020-second prize), “San Donna di Piave” competition in Italy (2015) and Shabac (2016). He has been awarded at the International competition for young pianists in Gevgelija (2011, 2019), at the EMCY-Skopje competition (2015), International competition “Polyhymnia” (2017, 2018), “Ohrid I love you” (2018) and at the “Ohrid pearls” competition he has won first prizes in 2012 and 2020 and second prize in 2018. At Pianofest-Biutola he won first prize and was pronounced Bet young Macedonian pianist, and at the “Polyhymnia” competition in 2020 he was a first prize winner and Laureate earning a master class with renowned pianist Simon Trpcheski. Most recently in June 2021 he was selected to be the soloist at a concert with the Macedonian philharmonic conducted by Sasho Tatarchevski.
