The audience of “Ohrid Summer” enjoyed in Russian classic

The music program of the festival “Ohrid Summer” last night continued with a concert of “Benjamin piano trio”, which presented the audience with the Trio Trio in c-mole by Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov and the Piano Trio Opus 50 by Petar Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

“Benjamin Trio” is composed by violinist Emir Imerov, pianist
Vag Papiyan and cellist Aleksandar Kaganovski. After the show, they said they were satisfied with their performance and the reception of the audience.

Macedonian violinist Emir Imerov, who is part of the sound European ensembles, first performs at “Ohrid Summer”, but his colleagues were already at the festival.

– It was an honor for us to play this huge festival, both for the Republic of Macedonia and for the entire music world. I hope that the audience very well accepted us and it was really a pleasure for us to perform before such an audience, said Imerov.

Armenian pianist Vag Papyan entered the festival chronicle two years ago, closing the music program of the 55th edition of “Ohrid Summer” together with the Russian virtuoso of violin – maestro Maxim Vengerov.

Ukrainian cellist Sasha Kaganovski performed in Ohrid Summer 2005 as part of the string trio together with violinist Boris Lishwitz and Zvi Lishwitz on viola. He has also recorded several CDs with the Macedonian Philharmonic in Skopje.
