The wine cellar “Tikvesh” presented the wine “Vranec Special Selection” with the logo of the artists from the string quartet “Diotima” from France, which took place last night at “Ohrid Summer”.
The wine “Vranec Special Selection” from the harvest 2015 at the Tikves Winery has recently won the “Trophy for Best Red Wine from Macedonia” at the international wine competition held in London, Great Britain.
This is the first time a winemaker from Macedonia and the region of Southeast Europe has received such prestigious recognition, which is another confirmation that Tikvesh is in the world club of elite wine producers.
“Tikvesh” is the first wine cellar in the region to receive this award, which is awarded for wine produced from an autochthonous grape variety, thus “Vranec Special Selection” rises to the rank of the world’s most popular wines, which are mostly produced by well-known international Varieties.
