A full-length concert by Macedonian pianist Dino Imeri at “Ohrid Summer Festival.”

Macedonian pianist Dino Imeri, one of the most renowned Macedonian pianists today, will perform a full-length concert at “Ohrid Summer” in the Church of St. Sophia starting at 9:00 PM. The program includes works by Frederic Chopin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

With tremendous success, Imeri performs on prestigious stages worldwide as a guest artist with top orchestras, as a solo recitalist, and as a chamber musician. The French critics describe him as a “magician of the piano” (Magazine, OPS), and his artistic creations leave the audience at his concerts deeply moved.

He has performed with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Sofia Philharmonic, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Republic of North Macedonia, Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje, and the National Opera and Ballet Orchestra.

He is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including “Virtuosi” for a young musical artist, “Mother Teresa” for humanity, Laureate of the “Tomislav Zografski” Foundation, Golden Bubamara for popularity, ranked among the top ten young European pianists according to 3eme Concours européen de piano – Normandie, and more. Imeri has signed with several prestigious record labels, achieved success as a composer, writing music for film, theater, instrumental, and vocal music.

He obtained his musical education at DMBUC “Ilija Nikolovski-Luj” (class of Prof. Ljudmila Romanova), graduated with honors from the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje (class of Prof. Boris Romanov), and completed his master’s degree with high honors and a GPA of 10.00 at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje (class of Prof. Simon Trpčeski). Since 2018, Dino Imeri has been teaching at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje at UKIM (Ss. Cyril and Methodius University).
